afriend of mine took gout med. for ten yr ‘s then new doc said he did not have gout still had same syptoms i got him to stop drinking it for 5 mouths now all syptoms are gone doc don’t know what to say

If is does, then just about everybody on Earth would have gout.

    No.
    I had gout for about 4 years. I could hardly walk for about 1 year. I took every drug on the market. The newest hot prescription drug back then was Naproxen. My gout went away on its own-but slowly.
