Allopurinol is a drug that a physician can prescribe to control Gout and it is not expensive.
Gout is perhaps the very most painful form of Arthritis. However, it is not life threatening although it does make playing Soccer really uncomfortable which, in my opinion, is just as bad.

Exercise + good hydration and distribution of movement over all joints not only legs example: swimming, isometric exercise, ,,,etc
Calories restriction: by decreasing fat to most minimal level + replacing sugar&sugar containing food by Fruits + avoiding only hyperglycemia index carbohydrate ( potatoes,rice,…) and increase use of Malt,Corn,…
No,No,Alcohol
