I’ve only had this problem after drinking beer. Gout is from a build-up of uric acid in the joints.

    Welcome to the club..

I’m only in my early thirties , and used to have about 3 attacks a year .

I test my blood every month , and if i’m above 10 i take Allopurinol for the next month…

Since i’ve been doing that , no more attacks..

I don’t drink and have a normal diet , for me it’s hereditary .. my gramps had it , and my mother has an unusually high level for a woman.. since women have 40 percent less uric acid in their blood they only very rarely show symptoms of gout..

write it down girls: something men can do better than women -> have gout

well, gout’s main cause I believe is the body’s inability to digest proteins properly, causing a build up of uric acid, leading to gout. maybe should research or talk to doc, maybe reducing protein in diet would help, good luck.
