Stop Buying Pills And Potions That Temporarily Ease Your Painful Gout!

I Found The Most Effective Way To Eliminate Painful Gout!

(YES! There is a CURE for Gout!)

This ISN’T Being Promoted By The Big Drug Companies Or Your Doctor
(That’s why it took me so long to find it!)

This Will Take That Tortured Look Off Your Face And Replace It With A Smile!

If you suffer from gout you KNOW what real pain is! And you know how that type of pain can consume your life.

While doing some research into the drug industry (and herbal supplement business) I was shocked by a simple fact. Their business model and their profits are based on keeping you using their products. If they came out with a product that CURED the problem, they would only get paid once. If they develop a product that treats the symptom, but is needed over and over again, they get rich. So, STOP buying products that just relieve the pain!

The most shocking part of my research what that there are some very under-publicized fast, natural ways to CURE your gout. Usually within just a few hours!

Why buy expensive pills and medications to relieve the pain caused by gout when you can ELIMINATE gout altogether! .

The site I stumbled upon isn’t very pretty or professional, but the program is! Here’s the link to the best (and cheapest) way to deal with gout pain (click here)

Thanks for reading, I wish you great health and permanent relief from your gout

Rob

PS. The ONLY reason I decided to try their program was because they had a complete 100% money back guarantee. (And if it hadn’t worked, I would have hounded them for a refund)
Lucky for me, I took that chance. (click here)

Handy Dandy Arthritis Treatments For Dogs

So your dog has arthritis?

Well, even though it is hard to hear, you must realize that you are not alone. Arthritis in dogs is one of the most common sources of chronic pain the veterinarians treat in their clinics today. Research seems to indicate that one in every five adult dogs is hammered with arthritis and the pain that goes along with it.

If your pet is suffering from arthritis you may see some signs that your pup is favoring one leg more than the other, she may sleep more, or seem to have more trouble standing for sitting. If your dog has arthritis you might also notice that she is more hesitant to climb stairs, run or jump. It may even seem that her joints seem sore or that she has no interest in playing. In some cases, dogs with arthritis also begin to show signs of weight gain.

If you are concerned that your dog may be suffering from arthritis, then it is quite important that you take your pet in to see the vet for an accurate screening and diagnosis. With an appropriate diagnosis, the treatment for dog arthritis is quite similar to arthritis treatment for humans.

For dogs suffering with arthritis, regular exercise is important to help maintain a proper body weight. NSAIDS or non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs are the most common form of pharmaceutical arthritis treatments for your dog. Over-the counter dog arthritis treatments such as glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, omega fatty acids and Boswellin may also be prescribed by your veterinarian.

Glucosamine absorbs and releases water with each step, acting as a shock absorber for the joints. It also stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans, important proteins found in cartilage, which helps to slow the deterioration of joints and ease your dog’s arthritis pain.

Chondroitin attracts fluids into proteoglycan molecules which draws nutrients into the cartilage and increases the flow of fluid into the cartilage which adds resiliency. Chondroitin also helps protect existing cartilage from premature degeneration and provides structure and flexibility to the joints. Giving more life to your doggy’s joints.

Other options for medications for arthritis include Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids which are constituents of fish oils. These fatty acids act as anti-inflammatory agents helping to further reduce the pain from inflammation.

Boswellin may also be recommended by your vet for its ability to improve the blood supply to the joints and maintain the integrity of blood vessels. It is also known for helping to improve mobility in stiff joints by reducing swelling. Less swelling, less pain for your best friend.

While there are varying arthritis treatments for dogs you will need to talk with your vet to determine the best course of action for you’re your pet. Some therapies may take a few weeks to completely work, so don’t get discouraged. Seek the best treatment for your pet, after all isn’t that what they deserve!

Arthritis treatment for your dog is too important to ignore and if your dog is suffering, then she deserves your full attention and the most comprehensive treatment plan that your vet can design.

No dog should suffer needlessly, so if arthritis is slowing your pet down make the call to your vet today to screen your dog for arthritis.

Diabetic Diet Food – 5 Tips

If you have been diagnosed with diabetes you may wonder what diabetic diet food is, in other words what you can and can’t eat.

Of course everyone’s metabolism is different, so there are no hard and fast rules. Much of deciding which diabetic diet food is right for you is a matter of trial and error. You need to test your blood sugar after eating certain foods and if it’s high, leave those foods out of your diet or cut down on them.

Follow these 5 tips to lay the foundations of your diet.

1. Be careful of snacking. Many snack foods are high in carbohydrates so are not suitable diabetic diet food. Try to avoid crisps, salted nuts, biscuits, cakes and sweets. Great snacks are strips of raw vegetables such as celery, carrots, green or red pepper and cucumber. Unsalted nuts and fresh or dried fruits are also fine. If you must eat chocolate, have a couple of squares of dark chocolate high in coco solids or if you can buy it, unsweetened dark chocolate.

2. Eat whole grain or wholemeal bread and pasta as well as brown or basmati rice. Wholemeal carbohydrates are so much better for you than the over-processed white varieties. There are lots of different breads available containing seeds and whole grains and they have really great flavour! Potatoes are also good carbohydrates as long as they’re not smothered in oil for roasting or butter if they’re boiled. Try dry roasting potato wedges with a sprig of rosemary or a spoonful of cumin seeds. They’ll taste so good that you won’t miss the fat and if the oven is hot enough, they’ll still be crispy.

3. Watch your alcohol intake. Beer is full of sugar so unless you can get the pilsner variety with all the sugar brewed out, avoid it if possible. Cocktails are also bad news, unless you know exactly what’s gone into them but many contain sugar syrup so also best avoided. Spirits with a calorie free mixer such as tonic or cola are ok occasionally and a glass of red wine comes highly recommended as it contains anti-oxidants which are good for your heart.

4. Make sure that you eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. Veggies don’t have to be boring and they are the best diabetic diet food. Try mixing chopped courgette, aubergine, red pepper and red onion with a couple of bashed garlic cloves and a sprinkling of olive oil and seasoning. Roast in a medium oven for 20 minutes. Steaming green vegetables keeps more of the goodness in than boiling. You can cook fruit or leave it raw as dessert but use artificial sweeteners rather than sugar, if you’re cooking it.

5. Drink lots of water. This is good for you whether you’re diabetic or not. It’s quite easy to drink a glass of water every hour so if you sit at a computer, have a reminder pop up or leave glasses of water ready to drink scattered around the house. Drinking water keeps you hydrated and keeps the kidneys functioning as they should.

Follow these tips on the right diabetic diet food and you’ll control your weight and your diabetes.

You should never totally eliminate carbohydrates however because like anything: you need it in moderation. When it comes to fruits, vegetables and proteins that have carbohydrates, you can have as much as you’d like. What you have to watch out for is things like pasta and bread, these should be in whole wheat form. You should also consume them in the morning and before your workout for the best results. It’s important tolearn the different types of weight lifting exercises and the best diets for long term weight loss, sticking to short term ones will not give you the results you want 3 years down the road.

The percentage of Americans obese as well as people in the UK is very high so if you want to succeed you need to do the opposite of what they are doing! The real truth about weight training and fat loss for a faster metabolism is that it works! Throw in some foods for slow metabolisms like eggs and avocado and your diet is all set too. The question “can carbs make you fat?” is very common, the fatty foods to avoid are things like white bread but oat bread is fine!

Botox Treatment Report: Coding Tips

When a dermatologist treats blepharospasm (the uncontrollable contracting of eyelid muscles) with botox, take one of those J codes and partner it with a chemodenervation procedure. As long as you get the medical coding process going smoothly, which means submitting the right documentation and reporting the right combination of codes, you will be winking your way out of the usual hassles of the job.

For such a special application of ophthalmic reconstructive surgery, you must use 64612 along with J0585. You should bill J0585 per total units used, not per eye.

Learn guidelines to your advantage

You should read in detail your physician’s chart note, which must include a diagnosis that supports medical necessity and a notation that the patient has been unresponsive to conventional methods of controlling and/or treating spastic conditions. That apart, the physician should not miss some essential details in the documentation, particularly.
Remember that each injection site for spasms may call for multiple units of botulinum.

Watch your number of treatments

Treatments may be continued unless any two consecutive treatments with the appropriate or maximum dose failed to bring about a satisfactory clinical response. It is normally not considered medically necessary to give botulinum toxin type A injections for spastic or excess muscular contraction conditions more regularly than every 90 days.

Reimburse by site per body part

Medicare allows reimbursement for blepharospasm on a per-eye-per-area basis. The number of injections on the same side is irrelevant; but ensure to report the code per area. You should also be able to tell if the procedure is unilateral, in which case you append the modifier LT or RT. Consider bilateral procedure only when the dermatologist injects both sides.

See vial administering through Medicare’s eyes

Medicare imposes some strict guidelines on vial usage. You should gear yourself up for unwanted incidents with payers.

For more and detailed information on ways to ensure your coding process goes smoothly, there are various sources of information like conferences or seminars to aid you.
Get Rid Of Gout Pain In The Foot In 2 Easy Steps

Here are 2 easy ways to get rid of gout pain in your foot. Many gout sufferers are turning to natural remedies for gout pain in the foot. You’ll discover 2 of the most effective here.

(1) HOT / COLD COMPRESS OR SOAK

By applying alternating hot and cold compresses, or, hot and cold soaks, you can relieve inflammation and pain. Timing should be 3 minutes hot followed by 30 seconds cold. This process aids circulation and helps to reduce inflammation and pain.

(2) BICARBONATE OF SODA DRINK

Also known as baking soda, this home remedy to get rid of gout pain in the foot works in 2 ways (1) by helping to dissolve the uric acid crystals that cause your gout, and, (2) by making uric acid more soluble to aid in it’s excretion from your body.

Just add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda to an 8 oz glass of water and mix thoroughly. Drink one glass before bedtime, one first thing when you get up in the morning, and one every 2 to 4 hours between meals. Never exceed 4 teaspoons of baking soda per day. Stop when the symptoms disappear.

And, because it is high in sodium, cut salt from your diet while you are taking it. Also, if you suffer from high blood pressure don’t use this remedy. As always, consult your doctor first.

These two home remedies can be very effective in getting rid of gout pain in the foot, and, eliminating the symptoms. But you need to do more…

Recurring gout attacks can lead to permanent joint damage and things like agonizing kidney stones. Plus, after having suffered one attack of gout, you are highly likely to suffer more.

Therefore, as well as addressing the symptoms of your current gout attack, you need to do more to prevent gout attacks in the future.

How to Reduce Gout Attack

Gout attack is one of the most painful situations suffered by humans due to the crystallization of uric acid within joints with the consequent intermittent attacks of arthritis. There is a sudden intense single joint inflammation with severe gout pain. Swelling and redness are usually present in such a condition.

Uric acids levels must be monitored regularly to prevent any painful flare ups, because keeping the levels of this acid low will prevent crystals from forming, which in turn prevents pain and inflammation. Uric acid is a waste product that naturally occurs in the body. It is normally flushed from the body by the kidneys through urine. Uric acid crystals may have accumulated in the joints to form gritty, chalk like nodules called tophi.

Most people resort to short term local steroids injections. However, this should not become a habit as this practice can lead to possible nerve atrophy or necrosis if injected directly into the nerves. Treatment of acute gout involves the use of non-steroidal inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), colchicine, corticosteroids or corticotropin. However, studies have revealed that every day use of NSAIDs raise the risk of not only liver damage, but also raise the risk of having a heart attack. There is a need for increase intake of water to offset the diuretic effect of the drugs. Studies have also shown that being overweight or obese increases the risk of suffering from gout.

Despite the critical role of drugs in the treatment of the acute gout attacks, people should initiate changes in lifestyle and also use diet as a prophylactic tool. Drugs can keep it under control, but people with the condition have other weapons at their disposal, too. Slimming down, eating right, cutting back on alcohol and drinking plenty of water will help lower uric acid levels and decrease the risk of gout attacks.

Diet control is the only way to control serum uric acid level. Diet plans are to be followed in accordance to different bodies and their potentials to lose weight. One diet may not work or suit on everyone. If you have a personal or family history of gout, regular examinations by a podiatric surgeon also will reduce the potential for an attack.

I had a personal experience with gout eight years ago. The unbearable pain was beyond imagination. When my lab results turned out discouraging, I started to do some research on the alternative treatments because I am always confident that there is always a way out in solving whatever health problems that one faces.

On the premise that there should be moderation in everything we do – like eating slowly – I started to review my lifestyle. I focused on my weight, checked on what and how I ate and ensured that I drank plenty of water along the way. Increased weight is associated with raised uric acid level. To slim down, I followed the principle of a low carbohydrate diet, eliminating totally any form of sugar. Once you are down to your ideal weight, you will find that the majority of body complaints suddenly disappear.

This is also true when you fast. The first three days of fasting can be quite nerve wrecking for beginners but once your body adjusts to the fasting mode, everything else is smooth sailing. If you do an alkaline fasting whereby you refrain from taking citrus based products, the alkaline environment will help to keep uric acid in solution and when you drink plenty of water, this helps remove uric acid from the body.

Eat meat in moderation or practice total restraint, if possible. Organ meats and alcohol are the worst culprits. Meat contains purines which gets oxidized and triggers the uric acid rise. Alcohol prevents uric acid excretion by the kidneys thereby causing it to remain in the body. Foods that are considered high in purines include anchovies, mussels, herring, mackerel, scallops, asparagus and mushrooms. Though many vegetables are good for the body, those with gout should avoid things like asparagus, mushrooms, lentils, peas, and many dark green varieties of veggies during flare ups.

Try to avoid a high fat diet as it increases the uric acid level. Even if you manage to reduce fat in your diet, you must not ignore the principle of sugar avoidance at all cost. Sugar will become bad fat if it is consumed excessively. In the body cells, sugar is broken down into small molecules and then is reassembled as fats called triglycerides.

Lowering your consumption of carbohydrates especially the refined carbohydrates will see the disappearance of not only gouty pain but also other ailments. Refined carbohydrate gets converted into sugar very fast.

Enzyme deficiency and stress can cause excess production of uric acid.

Supplements help me a lot in eliminating gout. In addition to my diet, I take the following supplements everyday:

a)A multivitamin and minerals capsule

b)Omega 3 1000mg capsule

c)Evening primrose oil 1000mg capsule

d)Vitamin C with bioflavinoids 2000mg

e)Folic acid 15mg

f)Vitamin E 400 IU

g)Zinc tablet 25mg

Stent Patients Advised to Take Fish Oil Along With Blood Thinners

Heart patients who’ve had stents implanted to keep their arteries open are being advised to add omega-3 fatty acids to their blood thinning medication. Omega-3 fatty acids have long been thought to help reduce the risk of heart problems in people with coronary artery disease, but a recent European study is believed to be the first to examine the effect of taking omega-3s along with blood thinners, or anti-platelet medication.

The study followed over 50 male and female patients who had a catheter procedure to open clogged arteries, then had a small tube called a stent inserted to keep the blood vessels open. Their average age was 64. Heart patients with stents are routinely given blood thinning medication to keep clots from forming on the stent and blocking blood flow, or breaking free and lodging in the heart or the brain.

All of the double blind study participants were given the standard therapy – a dose of aspirin and the widely prescribed blood thinner Plavix (generic clopidogrel) – following their stent procedure. Roughly half of the group was also given fish oil pills containing 1000 milligrams of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), while the other half received a placebo.

The group receiving the fatty acids along with blood thinners produced less of a clotting factor called thrombin. They experienced fewer clots, and the clots that did form broke up more easily. It’s believed it’s the antioxidants in fish oil that make the clots easier to displace and break up.

The research was conducted at the John Paul II Hospital in Poland. The researchers concluded that adding high potency fish oil to standard anti-platelet medications such as the blood thinner Plavix or generic clopidogrel significantly changed the blood clotting process, and could improve outcomes for heart patients receiving stents. It’s not yet known if omega-3 fatty acids could have a preventative effect in either heart disease and heart attacks.

High potency fish oils also have a beneficial effect on blood fats, lowering the levels of triglycerides and raising levels of HDL (good) cholesterol. Foods rich in omega-3s include salmon and other oily fish.

Osteoarthritis Symptoms, Natural Treatments and Remedies

Osteoarthritis is the commonest form of arthritis mainly seen in old aged people. This article mainly emphasizes on the major symptoms and natural treatments for osteoarthritis.

Osteoarthritis Symptoms
1. Pain in the form of sharp ache or burning sensation
2. Inflexibility or stiffness of joint
3. Swelling
4. Crepitus or cracking noise while moving the affected joint.
5. Muscle spasm
6. Tendon contraction
7. The affected joint may appear larger than usual.
8. Tenderness at joints
9. Joint effusion due to accumulation of excess fluids within an affected joint.
10. Hard bony enlargements in smaller joints due to osteoarthritis.

Natural Treatments of Osteoarthritis

Medications like Acetaminophen, nonsteroidal pain reducing drugs like aspirin, naproxen, ketoprofen, and ibuprofen are usually recommended for treating osteoarthritis. Glucosamine sulfate supplements are also being prescribed these days. Such supplements increase production of cartilage and have anti-inflammatory properties. If symptoms become too debilitating, one can also opt for joint replacement surgery. However apart from medication and surgery, it is also possible to manage osteoarthritis symptoms by changing life style and diet. Pain management can be done through several home based remedies. Here are some ways to tackle osteoarthritis naturally.
1. Regular exercise, yoga and breathing exercises are very necessary for osteoarthritis patients. Exercise not only reduces joint stiffness, but also strengthens muscles and promotes the growth of cartilages. Range of motion exercises and aerobics should be done by osteoarthritis patients. Breathing exercises relax mind and relieve stress. But high impact sports are to be shunned, for they will only cause further wearing out of damaged joints.

2. Massage therapy is very helpful to treat arthritis. Massaging should be done through smooth strokes and kneading. Massaging reduces muscle spasm and stiffness, improves blood circulation, and eliminates wastes like lactic acid from the joints. Rumatone Gold massage oil, Castor oil, olive oil, mustard oil or hot vinegar may be used for massaging ailing joints.

3. Sea bathing is effective for painful joints. The iodine rich sea water restores and regenerates damaged tissues.

4. Diet should be nutritious and should include antioxidants, Vitamin C, D and E, minerals like Calcium, omega3 fatty acids. Such a diet would keep bones strong and healthy. Thus oily fishes like tuna, salmons, herring, sardines, and mackerel are very useful for osteoarthritis patients. Patients should avoid consuming food items of the nightshade group such as potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, and peppers. Red meat is to be strictly avoided. Also orange juice should be avoided, for it acts as a stimulant for osteoarthritis pain. Food cooked in flaxseed oil is very helpful for osteoarthritis patients.

5. Herbal tea like that of alfalfa, ginger can relieve patients from swollen and painful joints.

6. The patient should keep the body weight in check by means of exercise and dieting.

7. Hot compress and warm wax application on the affected area may relieve pain.

A New Gout Drug. Febuxostat Wins Marketing Approval In The European Union

It has taken a very long time for a major new gout drug to be developed and approved. Probably the best gout news in over 40 years, is that Febuxostat, which has been given the trade/brand name of Adenuric, has been approved by the European Medicines Agency for marketing in European Union (EU) countries.

This approval applies only to EU countries. Febuxostat has not yet been approved in the United States. If you are reading this from a non-EU country, or the US, you can check with your doctor to find out whether, or when, Febuxostat will be approved in your country.

Approval in one country does not mean approval in another, but the fact that the European Medicines Agency has approved it will carry weight when the medical authorities in other countries consider its approval.

  BENEFITS

In large trials Febuxostat (Adenuric) has outperformed Allopurinol, the most common gout medication for long term treatment. Like Allopurinol, it works to lower uric acid production by inhibiting xanthine oxidase, an enzyme required to produce uric acid. In two major studies it reduced uric acid (UA) in more gout sufferers, and more patients reached the target 6.0 mg/dL level more quickly, than did those on Allopurinol.

At 120 mg it has reduced UA levels to the target of 6.0 mg/dL in over 60% of study patients. At 80 mg the numbers were around 51%. Allopurinol at a 300 mg dosage in most participants achieved this is 22% of study patients. Hence the excited buzz in rheumatology circles since these kinds of results became apparent in its trials. At or below 6.0 mg/dL gout is more likely to be cured or managed better.

Generally, Febuxostat has been more effective when UA levels are below 10.0 mg/dL (595 mmol/mol). However, even if they have been above this level, it has reduced UA levels down to the target in about 40% of study patients at an 80 mg dosage, and by more at higher dosages.

  IT’S NOT PERFECT

In trials its success rate in reducing UA levels down to the important 6.0 mg/dL (357 mmol/mol) level was not 100%. About 35% of trial patients did not achieve the target. This may have been partly because so many gout sufferers are not UA over-producers, the problem Febuxostat addresses, but under-excretors of uric acid.

And it may cause side effects of course. See the bottom of this article.

Febuxostat (Adenuric) is not unfortunately a treatment for gout pain. It won’t be used instead of NSAIDS like Indomethacin, Colchicine, and corticosteroids.

It is recommended that NSAIDs or Colchicine are used along with Adenuric. This is because, as with Allopurinol, on a course of Febuxostat, there may be an initial increase in gout flares. If this happens you must battle through the attacks and continue taking Adenuric.

It will also only be used in gout patients who have chronic hyperuricemia (high UA levels) and gout.

So if you’re a gout sufferer who lives in a European country that’s a member of the EU, you can ask your doctor’s opinion about whether Febuxostat is suitable for you.

  WHO WILL BE PRESCRIBED IT?

The recommended dose is one 80 mg daily tablet. If after two weeks there is no reduction in UA levels, your doctor may increase the dose to 120 mg daily. Patients will need another serum UA test after two weeks treatment to find out how well it’s doing. In trials it has usually worked quickly, within a couple of weeks.

Your uric acid levels will have to be high. If you have gout but normal or slightly raised uric acid levels as some do, it is unlikely to be prescribed.

Tophi If you have tophi, it’s heartening to know that Febuxostat has been shown to have success against tophi. Measured tophi areas reduced in many patients with tophi. The presence of tophi will be an additional factor in favour of a decision to prescribe Febuxostat (Adenuric).

You will not need to be on a low purine diet, and more good news is that it can be prescribed for the elderly.

Kidney and liver disease In trials it has performed quite well with patients who have mild kidney disease. 44% of patients achieved the target at an 80 mg dosage, more at higher dosages. Better results than Allopurinol. If you have mild kidney disease (renal impairment) or mild liver problems (hepatic impairment) your doctor will judge whether Adenuric/Febuxostat can be taken safely.

If you have severe kidney or liver problems Febuxostat is not recommended since it has not been tested in these patient groups. It is not recommended for people with heart disease or children.

Noted possible side effects dizziness, drowsiness, diarrhoea, rashes, headaches, hypertension and liver function abnormalities considered mild ones. In trials none of these side effects were reported in more than 3.5% of trial patients. The most common were liver function abnormalities.
