i started getting … i started getting it in the joint of my right toe about 5 years ago my doctor told em it wasnt gout until it laid me out for 5-6 weeks.but now i get it in both feet including the arches of my right foot ,left knee,left thumb,left elbow and the knuckles of my right little finger that spread up my arm if anyone even thinks they have this disease take it very seriously please
my first gout … my first gout attack since 2004 just started yesterday (same big toe) and man you know totally know it when it’s coming, and the next morning you feel like someone drill a hole in your toe joint and keep drilling some more…like a horror movie scene LOL
I have had the gout … I have had the gout for several years now. It sucks out loud!!! I have never felt such pain in my life. The doctors are clueless…they just prescribe the same over and over again and it doesn’t work. Thanks for some of the home remedies listed here…I will definitely try them.
I got it in my … I got it in my right ankle. The only pain I remember that felt worse was a kidney stone back in 1991. This is my second attack of gout. First attack was in 1997. I’ve just now stopped eating all red meat and seafood. I been eating cherrys the last couple of days. I sure hope the ends soon.

I had my first attack in my right big toe Easter Weekend of 1991 at 47–lasted about 10 days–toe went from red to purple, then peeled like a sunburn from inside out. Took aspirin, but got most relief by sinking my foot in a dishpan (it has to be blue) of room-temp tap water–completely neutralized it. Next attack in left big toe ten years later–right knuckle joint two years later. I’m 65 and am having a slight flare-up in left toe now.
lol my friends … lol my friends aren’t that bad. i get the occasional gimpy remark but i also haven’t had a full blown attack for almost a year now, i can usually get rid of it within a week
You said it buddy! … You said it buddy! I got the gout and my friends pull the same . They laugh and call me “Cripplestilkskin” when I get an attack, but then they run like when the gout goes away and I can chase them.

what works for me … what works for me is every morning take a tablespoon of cider vinegar, tablespoon of honey and a “shot” portion of warm water, stir it all around and down it. doesn’t taste very nice but it works! It’s the only thing i use!

When you notice … When you notice some signs of Gout attack, normally is some pain around the big gout, take a combination of colchicine and remafen and go to sleep. The attack will come, but not so severe until you can’t walk.

I am currently … I am currently suffering my 2nd attack and this is now 5 days after i noticed the swelling and discomfort, its pure agony no more beer or red meat for me cause i don’t want to go through this again
i had gout since i … i had gout since i was 19, I’m 30 now.. Time to get rid of it once and for all. Gonna get all the fluids drained and get a steroid shot!
I HATE GOUT , Had … I HATE GOUT , Had gout since i was 18 now im 35 and last 5 years gout got worse I dont have a social Life becouse i get attack almost every day got to use to the pain and the problem is that i dont drink Beer and eat Meat that sucks.
