I’m a ballroom dance teacher, so when I get a gout attack, I have to suck it up, and dance…..now that’s pain!!! try a table spoon of baking soda in water in the morning , and before bed, the baking soda will balance your body PH. don’t over do it with the baking soda, it can cause other problems. this works well for me.

drink plenty of water, stay away from red meat, and shell fish. for acute attacks drink an once of tart cherry juice every 2 hours. rub some DMSO on the joint, this work miracles!!! Gout is excess uric acid in the joints, so eat plenty of fruits, and veg, this will balance your PH levels.
