Many of you have expressed suffering from chronic pain: joints, headaches, backaches, feet problems

What would I do? ALKALIZE! What’s the easiest way?
Drink a green juice or 2 every day!

You can only eat so many heads of lettuce, & nibble on so many bunches of cilantro a day…

If you are in pain or are inflamed, alkalization is key!
Fruit energizes the cells; green juices alkalize the tissues.

This won’t happen overnight! You must be vigilant & patient.
Ideally, partner or team up with others who can support you & vice versa.

e.g., create a Mom & Daughter, or Father & Son GREEN JUICE TEAM!
One of you might have more skills in one area than the other,
but the other has skills that the other one doesn’t have!

For example, with Krista & I, it’s always been my role to make all the food for us, as it just comes naturally to me. As Krista has a natural inclination toward anything technological, she effortlessly enjoys taking care of that department for us. (btw, she does vaguely remember preparing some food for me once or twice here and there, but as she can’t even remember what it was that she might have made, she forgives me for not remembering!) However, she was just telling me earlier today about how she feels she now understands how to make FROM SCRATCH, any signature “Dan” raw food juice, smoothie, salad, dip, dressing or treat, just from watching the videos, even though she hasn’t actually done it yet! :D

OK, so back to the PAIN! …you could be experiencing it anywhere throughout your body… your feet (gout), your knees, hips, elbows and/or shoulders, or maybe you suffer from headaches, stomach aches and/or acid reflux. No matter where it is: Alkalize! Drink 1-2 green juices a day, plus enjoy whole fruits and simple leafy green salads with low-fat dressings.

Resistance from Others:
Some of you may be experiencing this from others: Your friends may give you a rough time for eating so healthily, or they may be lightly ‘teasing you’ at work (Krista often came home from her old corporate job saying that her colleagues had yet again tried to feed her a cheeseburger!). It of course also doesn’t help that many of your friends, family & peers won’t understand the detoxification symptoms, and so will instead point out that you must be ‘sick’ because “you aren’t getting enough protein” or what not.

Instead of meeting them w/ resistance and getting defensive, please try and bite your tongue! Accept that they just won’t ‘get it,’ at this time, no matter what you say, so don’t even start to say anything. As I described in another recent video, simply concentrate on you being a living example of health. When you come out of the initial more intense detox phase you might experience, with you losing X many pounds within just a few weeks, those who are ready to hear you, will come seek you out and ask you questions. Today, those people might still be in the ‘you need to eat a cheeseburger or you are going to die mindset,’ probably for no other reason than to justify their own unhealthy habits. That’s right, they could just be plain ol’ jealous of you right now, so want to subconsciously sabotage your healthy efforts. But don’t take any of that personally! And hopefully neither will they. ;-)

Realize that YOU are the one who is SANE, as you actually take care of yourself! You are feeding & nourishing your cells w/ raw living foods from Mother Nature. Whereas they are standing across the room staring at you w/ a smirk on their face as they drink their Venti Starbucks Coffee, as they oddly enough truly believe that YOU might as well be an alien for consuming something so strange as a green juice! …and not— oh my goodness— a coffee, along w/ bacon & eggs!

NEWS FLASH: Somehow this world has everything backwards! If anyone really took the time to pause and reflect for a few moments between what a SAD american diet really IS: e.g., coffee / donut / pastry / eggs / bacon / sausage / pancakes / and/or cereal & milk breakfast, vs. fruits, vegetables, smoothies and juices, then, um…is it not obvious yet??

Just Remember:
~ Take care of yourself!
~ Focus on fruits and vegetables
~ Don’t take any negativity expressed by anyone else personally
~ Continue on the path, get support from this community here, and/or from Krista, me and others on Facebook
~ Remember to exercise
~ Try to get to bed around 10PM
(Krista doesn’t have to follow this rule, haha)
~ Take responsibility to move in a direction of health, because you love and care for yourself!
~ Peace & Love is the way… :D

    Hey Dan, great as usual. My fibromyalgia has improved a LOT – I have been hiking every weekend whereas before I could barely move. I’ve gotten off of Vicodin completely and feel way better by drinking juices and green smoothies everyday, salads and fruit. I do eat steamed veggies with rice or potatoes for dinner ONLY but I have cut out the crap and I don’t even want it anymore. Of all the raw gurus out there you’re the best, ’cause you’re just giving your heart and not trying to sell anything.

    Dan, Thanks for the GREEN food reinforcement, just bout evone likes and eats Fruit cuz it tastes great and is easy to eat on the run

    But Greens are challenging to get in everyday, for various reasons. Ive eaten Fruit all my Life on various diets, but Greens are a relatively new concept.

    America eats ALOT of fruit, but as a country there is no doubt we all have a Raw Green food deficiency big time

    Thank you for the info. about greens vs. fruits. I thought they both contributed in part to healing, but perhaps greens contribute more to healing than fruits.

    The hot springs look soooo relaxing :) . I want to travel so much more than I currently do.
