The pain feels like being stabed in the foot.
What was your uric acid concentration level ?
When you have a gout crisis it’s usually at the end of a gradual increase in amount of uric acid , you probably had the pain for a bit , then after that you went to see a doctor , in that time , your level could well have dropped back to normal since crystallization is a "chain reaction" ,
You should have your blood tested each month . the months you are above 10 you should take allopuninol .
However , gout is quite rare .. is there a history of it in the family ? Do you have a purine rich diet, or maybe had one for a couple of days?
The chance you have something broken or sprained or an infection is much biger than having gout …

Where in your foot? If it’s the heel, it could be a bone splinter. This is actually pretty common. If it’s the big knuckle or the pinky knuckle, it could be a bunyon. If it’s not a gradual pain, you could have pulled a tendon/muscle. There are so many possibilities. Need more information to help you. You should see a podiatrist — a foot specialist.

Have you tried seeing a reflexologist as often pain in the foot can be caused by another part of your body, especially the spine. Try reading first about reflexology and see what you think. But it does work! Even a very old injury from childhood may have put your spine out of alignment and this is now causing you pain in your foot…it could even be sciatica so go and get checked out!
Good luck!
