I experienced pain in my ankle and foot after taking a nap. Took three days for it to get better. Any advice?

At first, I thought I had gout, but that would be pretty odd since I am relatively very healthly and am a vegetarian. I went ahead and treated it like gout by drinking a lot of water and ate plenty of fruits and vegetables. I also tried to walk on it when I could even though it was painful. It seemed to get better after I did walk on it more, but it returned whenever I took a nap or went to bed. I still have some lingering pain, but at least I can walk now. Any advice or answers? Just to clarify, the pain was in my heal, arch, and ankle. It hurt when I put my weight on it in trying to walk or move around. I haven’t done anything harsh where I broke anything so I don’t think it’s anything broken.

Thanks!

Check out the link above. It sounds a lot like plantar fasciitis. I have it and it hurts the worst when I wake up. There are braces you can wear that keep your foot at the proper angle while you sleep and it helps a lot with the pain. Good luck!
